The BHASHINI Division of the Digital India initiative showcased its innovative AI solution named Shrutlekh at the summit, catching everyone’s attention with its exciting demonstration in the field of speech-to-text and multiple translations. Main Highlights of the Event-

  • The TiE Global Summit 2026 agenda from Jaipur (4–6 January 2026) began with semi-final competitions for TiE Women and TiE-U startup tracks, followed by an inauguration ceremony with networking and speeches from dignitaries on the first day.
  • On 5 January, the main stage hosted a series of fireside chats and panel discussions on leadership, women in public service, future city innovation, and the role of MSMEs in economic growth. 
  • On 6 January 2026, it featured the launch of regional AI initiatives and policies, and discussions on scaling industries, climate action, and investor perspectives.

TiE Global Summit 2026: AI Breaks Language Barriers-

The 10th edition of the TiE Global Summit 2026 began at Jaipur, Rajasthan, from January 4-6 at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC), in association with Rajasthan DigiFest. TiE Global chair Murali Bukkapatnam highlighted the organisation’s mission to cultivate entrepreneurship from the grassroots and expand opportunities for founders across India. Initiated by TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), the summit hosted more than 10,000 attendees, including startup founders and MSMEs, 500+ investors, 100+ global speakers, and 200+ startups from 30+ countries.

Shrutlekh is an advanced AI-powered speech-to-text and multilingual translation platform developed under Digital India BHASHINI (Bhasha Interface of India) to enable seamless communication across India’s diverse linguistic ecosystem. 

  • It has been designed to accurately convert spoken language into text in real time while allowing translation between multiple Indian languages.

Rajasthan AI/ML Policy:

The Rajasthan AI/ML Policy 2026 is a futuristic approach of the government to integrate AI and ML into the state government, education, industry, and public services. 

  • The Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal Sharma, has jointly unveiled this policy during the Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference in Jaipur to follow through on Rajasthan’s commitment toward embracing innovation and making it the leader in responsible and citizen-centric technology adoption.
  • The AI/ML Policy addresses the issues of mitigating bias in AI systems, protecting personal data, and providing effective avenues for the reporting of AI-related cybercrimes. 
  • To foster AI excellence, the AI/ML Policy proposes the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence. 
  • The policy intends to foster an innovation ecosystem among startups, MSMEs, and research organisations by allowing incentives within existing innovation and startup support initiatives by state governments.
  • It also aligns with other national initiatives, such as India AI Mission, among others, including the National AI Literacy Program that intends to improve AI and non-AI education among all classes of people.
